Week 4 Part 2

One of the newest projects with integrating education with fun is by using ipods. Developers are trying to allow students to use ipods to help them with their studies. In one study, the teacher records herself reading a book. Then, the track is put on an ipod for the student to listen to and follow along with while looking at the book. This helps that student to enhance their vocabulary and listening skills.

Students who used this method of learning gained skills such as “accountability, adaptability, personal productivity, personal responsibility, self direction”. This discovery may open a door for children to learn more easily and efficiently as well as getting the student excited about education. Technology is the new fad in today’s society. What a great tool it will be when we finally learn all it’s possibilities!

Between the online learning such as ALEX, ACCCESS, and now Ipod, I think our children's futures are in good hands! What neat ways to learn!
