5 ways to use iGoogle

iGoogle is something that I knew nothing about until tonight! I am impressed with all that it can do! The possibilities for the classroom are endless. Students in even elementary school can set up their own igoogle to use for homework and in class assignments. In geography or science, the students could monitor the weather forecast on their homepage. There is also an option to translate the text into different languages for learning in say a Spanish class. Teachers could encourage their students to view newsclips as well. For subjects like English and grammar, you could add "word of the day" to your homepage so students could increase their vocabulary. There is a literature quote option too. The student could view a quote from literature each day. One day the classroom is going to be so advanced!!!
